Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE CHANCE OF WINNING. VOID IN PUERTO RICO, QUEBEC PROVINCE AND WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
1. ELIGIBILITY. The United States Tennis Association Incorporated ("USTA" or "Sponsor") "Fan Pass Registration" Sweepstakes (hereinafter, the "Sweepstakes") is offered and open only to legal residents of the 50 U.S. States, the District of Columbia or Canada (excluding Quebec) who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, and agents of the United States Tennis Association Incorporated, USTA National Tennis Center Incorporated ("NTC"), and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, legal advisors, web masters and web suppliers, and their immediate family members (defined as spouse, parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, and each of their respective spouses, regardless of where they live) and persons living in the same household of each of such persons (whether or not related), are not eligible to enter or win. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ordinances. Void where prohibited by law.
2. PROMOTIONAL PERIOD
Promotional Period begins on 05/28/2026 at 4:00:01 p.m. Eastern Time ("ET"), and ends on 08/22/2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. (ET) (the "Promotional Period").
3. HOW TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. During the promotion period Log on to http://www.usopen.org/FanPass ("Website") and register for the Sweepstakes by entering your first and last name, Birth Year, Phone number (including area code), complete address including city, state and zip code/postal code for Canada, your email address and check the box to confirm that you agree to the Official Rules. You will not be eligible to win prizes unless you accept the Official rules. By registering, you will receive one (1) Entry into the Sweepstakes.
Once registered, you will have the option to fill out a survey on the Fan Pass Hub. By doing so, you will automatically receive one (1) additional entry into the sweepstakes, for a maximum of two entries total per registrant. All entries become the sole and exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission of an entry is not proof of receipt by Sponsor.
Alternative Method of Entry: To enter without online registration, on a plain piece of 3" x 5" index card, hand print your full name, street address (no P.O. Boxes), city, state, zip code, birth year, plus telephone number. Mail your entry in a stamped business-size envelope to: USTA "Fan Pass Registration" Sweepstakes/Entries, US Open Marketing Department, 2500 Westchester Avenue, Suite 411, Purchase, NY 10577. All entries must be hand-written and received no later than August 22, 2026. No mechanically reproduced entries are permitted. You will receive one (1) Entry into the Sweepstakes.
4. RANDOM DRAWING
One (1) Potential Grand Prize Winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received during the Promotional Period. The drawing will occur on or about August 25, 2026 by Sponsor. Winner will be notified by email, telephone, or overnight carrier within approximately one (1) day of the drawing.
5. PRIZES/VALUES/ODDS OF WINNING
One (1) Grand Prize: two (2) tickets to the Women's Final Match and two (2) Tickets to the Men's Final Match of the US Open Tennis Championships in Flushing, New York on September 12, 2026 and September 13, 2026, respectively (the "Prize"). Tickets are Promenade Level and valid for only the designated matches located in Arthur Ashe Stadium. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) OF THE GRAND PRIZE IS US $1,800.
TRAVEL EXPENSES/TRANSPORTATION NOT INCLUDED
Winner will be solely responsible for arranging their own transportation and other travel related expenses. In the event the prize is not available for any reason, Sponsor may award to winner the value of the prize and such awarded prize shall constitute full satisfaction of Sponsor's prize obligation to winner and no additional compensation will be awarded. Sponsor is not responsible if the US Open is postponed, cancelled, rained out, or rescheduled for any reason after ticketing of prize, in whole or in part. In the event of cancellation, postponement, or rescheduling of any US Open match, no substitution or compensation will be provided.
Other than as set forth above, the Prize cannot be substituted, assigned, transferred or redeemed for cash, but Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the Prize becomes unavailable for any reason. If winner cannot accept the Prize as stated, the Prize will be forfeited in its entirety. All Federal, State and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners of prizes with a value of $600 or more will be issued an IRS Form 1099 for the value of the Prize. The Prize may not be used for advertising, promotions (including contests or sweepstakes) or other trade purposes without the prior express written consent of the USTA. Tickets are subject to all ticket terms and conditions as well as all venue and US Open procedures, policies, and protocols as they may be updated from time to time, including, without limitation, security and guest conduct, health and safety, and applicable bag policies.
Odds of winning Grand Prize depend on the number of eligible entries received.
For potential Canadian winners: If the winner is a resident of Canada, in order to be declared a winner and receive the prize, the potential winner must first correctly answer a four function mathematical skill-testing question within five minutes without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise. The skill testing question will be administered either by phone or email. If the potential winner cannot be contacted and the skill testing question administered within three business days of receipt of the Affidavit of Eligibility and Release or the skill testing question is incorrectly answered, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
6. GENERAL CONDITIONS: If a winner of any prize is a minor in his/her jurisdiction of residence, prize may be awarded in the name of, or to, winner's parent/legal guardian who must execute all documents and agree to all obligations and undertakings of winner, both on behalf of himself/herself and winner, or prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
Grand Prize Winner will be required to complete, execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, and a Liability/Publicity Release within five (5) days of prize notification. Failure to return documents within the specified timeframe, or if any prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, or if any winner is found to be ineligible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules, winner will be disqualified, the prize forfeited, and an alternate winner selected. In the event that any potential winner cannot be contacted within forty-eight (48) hours of first notification attempt, or if potential winner rejects the prize, or in the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules, such prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from among all remaining eligible entries. Upon forfeiture of any prize, no compensation will be given. By participating, each entrant agrees to release, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor, USTA National Tennis Center Incorporated, the City of New York, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors (individually and collectively "Released Parties") from any and all liability for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever, including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death, which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in the Sweepstakes, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of any prize, including any travel or activity related thereto, and including any claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
Sponsor makes no warranties, and hereby disclaims any and all warranties, express or implied, concerning any prize furnished in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, its quality, mechanical condition, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Prizes are awarded "as is."
PUBLICITY: Except where prohibited, by accepting a prize, winner grants the Sponsor and its designated agents the right to use winner's name, city and state of residence, likeness, photograph, voice, biographical information, and/or any statements made by winner regarding the Sweepstakes for purposes of advertising, trade, and promotion in any media now known or hereafter developed, worldwide, in perpetuity, without further notice, review, consent, or compensation.
Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual found to be (a) tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or Website; (b) in violation of the Terms of Service of the Website; (c) acting in violation of the Official Rules; or (d) acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Sponsor reserves the right to revoke prize tickets and/or remove the winner and/or guest from the US Open venue at any time for disruptive, threatening, illegal, or otherwise objectionable behavior, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, and no compensation or substitution will be provided in such event. Any use of robotic, automatic, macro, programmed, third party, or like entry methods will void all such entries, and any participant using any such method will be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to entries submitted by multiple users having the same email account, the authorized subscriber of the email account used to enter the Sweepstakes at the actual time of entry will be deemed to be the participant and must comply with these rules. Authorized account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization which is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. A potential winner may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that the potential winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry. Sponsor may prosecute any fraudulent activities to the full extent of the law.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND ANY OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. By entering or otherwise participating in the Sweepstakes and/or accepting any prize, each entrant hereby fully and unconditionally agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects, and agrees to waive any right to claim any ambiguity in these Official Rules. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
7. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, or postage due mail, email or entries, or for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Website users, or tampering or hacking, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes, and further are not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, jumbled, scrambled or misdirected transmissions, traffic congestion, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to the Website, Internet or Website access or availability, or for any hardware or software or program/programming malfunctions whether due to technical errors or failures or unauthorized human intervention, or for the failure to capture, or loss of, any entry or other information. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of the Website. If, for any reason, this Sweepstakes, or any part thereof, as solely determined by Sponsor is not capable of running as planned by reason of infection by computer virus, worms, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, or any other causes which, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and/or select the winners from entries received prior to the action taken or in such other manner as deemed fair and appropriate by Sponsor. In such event you may be advised on the Sweepstakes page to forward your confirmation email to an email address specified by Sponsor or mail your entire original Sweepstakes message print out to an address specified by Sponsor for decoding. Specific instructions will appear on said page. Sponsor, however, reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to address an Internet raised or related issue in any manner it deems fair and appropriate.
IN NO EVENT WILL THE RELEASED PARTIES BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE WEBSITE OR DOWNLOADING FROM AND/OR PRINTING MATERIAL DOWNLOADED FROM THE WEBSITE.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, EVERYTHING ON THIS WEBSITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. CHECK YOUR LOCAL LAWS FOR ANY RESTRICTIONS OR LIMITATIONS REGARDING THESE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE SWEEPSTAKES, EACH ENTRANT AGREES THAT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: (1) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SWEEPSTAKES, OR ANY PRIZE AWARDED, WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; (2) ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, JUDGMENTS AND AWARDS WILL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL THIRD-PARTY, OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED (IF ANY), BUT IN NO EVENT WILL ATTORNEYS' FEES BE AWARDED OR RECOVERABLE; (3) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ANY ENTRANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD FOR, AND ENTRANT HEREBY KNOWINGLY AND EXPRESSLY WAIVES ALL RIGHTS TO SEEK, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS AND/OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, OTHER THAN ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET EXPENSES; AND (4) ENTRANT'S REMEDIES ARE LIMITED TO A CLAIM FOR MONEY DAMAGES (IF ANY) AND ENTRANT IRREVOCABLY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR EQUITABLE RELIEF. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO EVERY ENTRANT.
8. DISPUTE RESOLUTION/CHOICE OF LAW: Except where prohibited by law, entrants agree to waive all rights to trial in any action or proceeding instituted in connection with these Official Rules, including, without limitation, the Sweepstakes. Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Official Rules and/or the Sweepstakes shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any such controversy or claim shall be arbitrated on an individual basis, and shall not be consolidated in any arbitration with any claim or controversy of any other party. The arbitration shall be conducted in the State of New York, County of Westchester. These Official Rules and the interpretation of their terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York without regard to its conflicts of laws rules. For any matters which are not subject to arbitration as set forth in these Official Rules and/or in connection with the entering of any judgment on an arbitration award, the parties irrevocably submit and consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Westchester County in the State of New York. The parties agree not to raise the defense of forum non conveniens. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of this provision.
9. PRIVACY POLICY: Sponsor will be collecting personal data about entrants in accordance with the Privacy Policy found at usopen.org. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant hereby agrees to Sponsor's collection and usage of his/her personal information and acknowledges that he/she has read and accepted Sponsor's Privacy Policy. In the event of any discrepancy between Sponsor's Privacy Policy and these Official Rules, these Official Rules shall control and govern.
10. SEVERABILITY: The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.
11. WINNERS' LIST: For names of winners send a self-addressed stamped envelope for receipt by 10/01/2026 to: US Open Fan Pass Registration Sweepstakes - Winners List, US Open Marketing Department, 2500 Westchester Avenue, Suite 411, Purchase, NY 10577. For a copy of these Official Rules mail a self-addressed stamped envelope to the above address marked "OFFICIAL RULES" for receipt by 09/13/2026. Canadian residents may omit return postage.
